‘Mostra BUG’ presented and contextualised the diversity of the main international and national references of interactive and immersive digital narratives: webdocs, sound maps, mobile narratives, cinematic and interactive VR an AR pieces.
The Show was an initiative of Bug404 with the production company Automática, curated by André Paz, Julia Salles and Arnau Grifeu. Between 13 August and 9 September 2018, about 50 immersive and interactive narratives were exhibited. It was the first and most comprehensive exhibition in Brazil on the broad field of interactive and immersive narratives. Webdocumentaries, interactive documentaries, 360 videos, virtual reality animation, augmented reality narrative, sound maps, transmedia installations on websites, cell phones, tablets, computers, virtual reality glasses.
The exhibition occupied four floors of one of the most important art centres in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Centro Oi Futuro Flamengo, and took place between 15 August and 11 September 2018. It showed about 30 interactive and 20 immersive works.
